SupportYourVet.org provides the friends and family members of returning Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans with information on how to help young Veterans make the transition from combat to civilian life. This site provides information on:

- The invisible injuries of war
- How to start a conversation with a returning Veteran
- Veteran's benefits, resources, and discounts
It also provides a forum where the friends and family members of returning Veterans can share their experiences and support each other.
SupportYourVet.org was created by the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). Founded in June 2004, IAVA is the nation's first and largest non-partisan, non-profit group dedicated to the troops and veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the civilian supporters of those troops and veterans.
